But still many of us struggle with motivation and accountability. So let's go back to basics with our movement, too, by integrating small steps into our daily lives.
We are a country obsessed with getting fit. New fad workouts crop up constantly, gym memberships are back on the rise, and extreme sports such as ultrarunning and rock climbing are mainstream. All great pursuits for the sake of fitness, but true physical health is dependent less on singular bouts of intense exercise and more on a constant engagement in low-intensity, natural movement.
