Building Blocks Nutrition

"Diet" is such a loaded word these days. New fad diets crop up often, superseding the old stand-by plans (DASH, Mediterranean, etc.). It can be difficult to know what to eat, when to eat, and why we should be mindful of our diets. 

 

So let's take it back to the basic building blocks of a healthy nutritional approach: whole grains, fresh fruit and vegetables, unprocessed food...let's stop worrying so much about following a fad and concentrate on rebuilding a healthy diet from the ground up.
